A good twelve months have passed since duo Uh Huh Her released any new music, and the pair have rectified this with EP3. Ok, so here's what we don't recommend: listening to Gallops debut album, Yours Sincerely, Dr Hardcore, when completely worn out and night driving. It will turn you into a raving paranoid within minutes, as you navigate through a weird hybrid of reality-meets-videogame world that is your journey home. Just sayin'.

For those not in the know, The Revival Tour has been going strong since 2008. The idea being that each year a new set of musicians take to the road – which now extends worldwide – and bring their music with them for what is a communal show of folk-punk delight. Curated by Hot Water Music frontman Chuck Ragan, the tour has previously included The Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon, The Loved Ones' Dave House and Alkaline Trio's Dan Adriano.

Vasa – Never Have Dreams (Overlook Records)

With the post-rock model inventively mis-shapen by bands like ASIWYFA, Maybeshewill and Talons, the more classically-styled post-rock bands seem to have fallen from the forefront of the genre. Vasa are here to stake a claim on the more traditional model, where genre-hopping stays to a minimum and the purest sound is accomplished.
Recordings by The Last Starfighters have surfaced eight years after they were recorded.
The Derby outfit, headed by ex-Plans & Apologies man David Williams, and joined by Jamie Cattermole (Plans & Apologies, Cheap Jazz, A-tota-so) and Robin Newman (Plans & Apologies), have unearthed the recordings and made them available for download via Bandcamp. Happy Accidents also features cameos from some of Derby's local musicians, including Richard Birkin (Emphemetry / Crash Of Rhinos) and Dan Wheeler (Cheap Jazz).
If you like your indie all introspective and autumnal, then this record will hit the spot just nicely, especially on a cold day like this. What's more, all proceeds from the sales of Happy Accidents will be donated to Penny's Fund, which is raising money to help buy much needed drugs and medical equipment for Systemic Sclerosis sufferer Penny. So, it's been 10 years since Finch released What It Is To Burn, and to celebrate, they have announced they will be playing the album in its entirety on 22 March 2013. The commemorative show will take place at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, and tickets go on general sale on 31 October from the usual outlets.
The only question remains....will Daryl Palumbo make a guest appearance?!
Bear Makes Ninja – Shouting At Bridges (Mountains of Records)

Following up last year's Biff 'n' Buzz single, Bear Makes Ninja have returned with a seven track EP that has certainly been worth the wait. Shouting At Bridges builds on their trademark sound, one which sees them pushing their own boundaries in terms of songwriting. And with Chris Common and TJ Lipple taking the mix and master credits respectively, Bear Makes Ninja mark themselves out as genuine contenders in the British underground scene.

Sucioperro find themselves in a small music venue hidden in the back streets of Leicester, in the name of playing a rock show. The band have been around the block a few times now, so it's surprising to see them still playing such intimate venues, especially after the relative success they garnered after releasing their "accessible" album last year. But with a new record to promote, which takes them back to their heavier roots, this venue is as rough and ready as the band are.
Scottish post-rockers Vasa have announced their debut EP Never Have Dreams. Due for release via Overlook Records on 14 December 2012, it is preceded by FREE download single, Cynthia. The track is a beautiful slice of math-infused post-rock, that will tickle your taste buds if you like Explosions In The Sky, Mogwai et al. Take a listen:

Blind Wives have the job of warming the Bodega up, and, with a healthy slew of grunge riffs, they manage to do just that. The trio deliver a tight set, showcasing tracks from their recently released self-titled EP, as well as road-testing some new songs.
So after months of keeping us all hanging, Axis Of have finally announced their debut album.
Finding St Kilda will be released this Autumn via Small Town America (LaFaro, ASIWYFA, Fighting With Wire). We'll bet it'll be a belter!

Making their return to Nottingham, A Plastic Rose take to the stage of the infamous Rock City. The show is part of a regular Saturday club night, meaning it's late doors for the usual gig-goer and early doors for the average clubber. As a result, the crowd was always going to be on the unpredictable side.

But when Brigade went into live hibernation, we knew it wouldn't be long before they found an excuse to plug their amps back in again and take to the stage. So, when the band announced a nine year anniversary show that was to reunite the four original members for the first time since 2007, we thought who needs conventional milestones anyway?
